Introduction

Since 1992, the Czech company Delong Instruments has been active in R&D of transmission electron microscopes, electron-optic systems, electron guns and other high-tech devices in the field of micro and nanotechnologies.

Delong Instruments focuses on the development and production of low voltage electron microscopes LVEM 5 and LVEM 25 and Schottky electron gun DIGUN. The company is also well-known for its unique customer and OEM solutions (e. g. complex mechatronic systems for laser applications) and as a supplier of customized special components (such as vacuum components or components for X-ray microscopy sources) made from the first draft up to the final device. For its expertise, DI is a favoured partner in large international projects.
